I use compact fluorescent lights to help the environment

To help the environment I use CFL's, buy recycled/recyclable as often as I can, ease up on the gas pedal, and make sure the lights are turned off.

I was walking through Sams Club yesterday and saw LED replacement bulbs. Some of the comparison stats are 60,000 hour life for LED's, 10,000 for a CFL and 1,500 for incandescent. The issues are that LED's are significantly more expensive than CFL or incandescent and they don't put out as much light.
