Well now, it's been quite some time since I've been here, but I've just been so damn busy lately. I've been to see Transformers, I'm going back to school, and still playing games like a madman.
Let's see... should I do this all in one post? Or multiple posts so it looks like I have more content on here? I'll go the latter route.
Let's start with school. After multiple revisions to my FAFSA (Free Application for Financial Student Aid), several interviews, and lots of paperwork, I'm officially a college student!
I'm taking a Computer Technology course at Vatterott College, it basically covers everything to start a career in the IT department. It's a 60 week course for my certificate of completion, and an extra 30 weeks to get an Associates Degree.
So far I'm really liking it, my instructor is cool as hell, everyone in my class is pretty cool. I'm actually learning quite a bit, and I'm very excited to get out of here and start a good career. At this point I've passed my first two tests with a score above 92%.
It's really hard though, I'm only working weekend mornings now, working mornings kills me, I wake up at 6:00 am, go to work, and sit there for eight hours. There's literally nothing to do at my job. Also with me only working weekends, it makes money quite a bit tight.
Ashley's going to school as well, we've got the same schedule, she's going in for Medical Office Assistant. She's passed her tests with scores over 95% if I remember right.
We're both very excited and very anxious.
